Janko Franjic is a 30 year old seasoned athlete who competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, continuing a family tradition in the sport of bobsleigh. Following in the footsteps of his father, who represented former Yugoslavia and Bosnia & Herzegovina in two Olympic Games as a bobsledder, Janko has carried on the legacy with pride. Interestingly, his younger brother, Jelen Franjic, is also part of the bobsleigh team, making their journey a family affair. Before switching to bobsledding, Janko was a competitive weightlifter, which provided him with the power and explosiveness that are crucial for success on the ice track. As one of the Netherlands' leading bobsledders, Janko's dedication to the sport has marked him as a key figure in Dutch winter sports.
